We received over 20 excellent proposals for special sessions. The session ideas cover a wide range of topics in Ecological Restoration, such as ecosystem processes, traditional knowledge in restoration, and the policy of restoration. After some reorganizing there are altogether 25 sessions, all of which are open for Abstract submission. The sessions are grouped into four themes:
  • Theme 1: Ecosystem services and application of new concepts in Ecological Restoration
  • Theme 2: Ecological Restoration and policy
  • Theme 3: Approaches and processes in Ecological Restoration
  • Theme 4: Restoration of ecosystems
The session proposers will work together with the Scientific Committee to choose the Abstracts to the proposed sessions. The Scientific Committee however reserves the right to decide on the final Abstract allocation to different sessions.

The Conference has been offered an opportunity to edit a special issue for the Environment Science and Pollution Research journal (ESPR, IF=2.651), free of charge. Please consider this as a possibility to present your related research in the special issue. We will do the finding and pre-selecting of appropriate papers, but you can also be proactive and contact us directly to:
